currently watching

idk why gmmtv decided to air all of their high-profile shows at the end of the year because i am honestly overwhelmed by everything that is going on!! i can barely keep track of what's going on and i'm literally on winter break lmaooo. anyways in order of how excited i am about the show:

1. bad buddy – at first i was like "this show isn't good" but then i binged it all during finals week and now i'm like… this show is so real and serious. and yes it has its ridiculous moments because p'aof literally cannot create a show without having something insane occur in the third act but patpran have a really healthy, affectionate, communicative secret relationship and THE SIDE WLW COUPLE IS SO CUUTEEE. i love how the script acknowledges traditional bl tropes/problematic elements then turns it on its head, the show itself has a very conventional setup but it is executed in a healthy and entertaining way. also now i'm OHMNON FANNN… especially nanon… crazy how i used to think that he was clapped but he's actually so cute
2. f4 thailand – LOWKEY I AM WAY TOO EXCITED FOR THIS SHOW!!! why is the cinematography actually good. why do straight people get higher budgets. etc. i wasn't really a fan of bof in its previous iterations and i've never been able to get through a full adaptation of it but tu's portrayal of gorya is so gripping and i love the f4 casting T__T i'm so excited for win as kavin lmao and i hope that the class/social media commentary is actually thoughtful
3. not me – i watched the first part of episode one and was like wtf is this and why is gun speaking russian and then noped out. but then emily says it's actually good?!?! will probably end up binging this later on in the quarter… or maybe not at all
4. the player – askjdgdsjfkhg this is sooo soap opera-like and idk if the MURDER DRAMA INTRIGUE of it all really interests me. like yay rich people being assholes and fucking around with each other but why should i care T__T at the same time i love tay's performance as a detective and his loserly pining lmao. also joss looks really good

sorry for being like this but also like umm THAI ACTOR RPS IS SO SERIOUS!!! just kidding it's like the opposite of serious but i will continue to be unhinged about it because it's fun. also i feel obligated to mention jaonaayjuné even though they aren't gmmtv actors just because they're studying in LONDON together T__T ok let's move on. basically this is a combination of me talking about my fav gmmtv "ships" and also which actors i wish would be paired up together to produce a show… lmao… anyways let's get into it

tay [91] x joss [96] – fuck taynew let's get josstay up in here. i know tay doesn't act in BLs anymore because he's a "hag" but i think we also deserve some "older" lgbt representation!!! society if they starred in a thai remake of his… can u imagine joss as nagisa and tay as shun i feel like it would be iconique

earth [94] x mix [98] – okay you already know. these bitches are married and i'm happy for them and i can't wait to watch MOONLIGHT CHICKEN.

toptap [94] x mix [98] – idk why but i want to see their energies collide. i also just think toptap is cuties

jimmy [94] x mix [98] – me: [sees a man born in '94] oh okay so i'm going to stick him with mix now!! but also the med school x veterinarian of it all. do these people know each other i think they would look so good together visuallyyy i hope they get to act together at some point.

bright [97] x win [99] x tu [00] – wait i'm losing it i did NOT realize bright was older than mix. why do earthmix seem so much older than the other "new" gmmtv actors… is it because earthmix are living their domestic cat-dads married life at the tender age of 27/23 respectively… anyways i don't like brightwin and think that their chemistry is terrible but also i cannot deny the visual appeal of these photos.

gmmtv needs to bring back ambiguous pining and ot3s and polyamorous relationships in their shows. like i would definitely watch a drama where bright was just like -__- (tsundere) for the entire show and win was like *__* (not acting much better) and tu was doing all of the emotional heavy lifting

win [99] x love [00] – [guy who thinks win metawin is cute] sorry for being win fan!! but also i kind of hate love with pretty much every gmmtv guy but i think winlove could be cuuuute… or brightlove honestly. again i think win deserves to have love interests who aren't five years younger or ten years older than him

film [00] x tu [00] – i just want to see these girls interact in one way or another. ngl i feel like their visuals are too similar for them to be in projects together but i'm manifesting interactionsss… do these bitches know each other… please say yes

love [00] x film [00] – ok but where is the gl starring lovefilm that we all deserve to make up for the fact that EARNPEAR never became canon!!!

ohm [00] x tu [00] – ohm is straight but also ridiculous and i doubt that any girl would actually like him because he's crazy (i mean this in the best way possible) but ohmtu are actually sooo visually appealing and harmonious T__T to be fair i think tu looks good with literally every guy. but also ohm is hot. can you tell i'm excited for ten years ticket…

nanon [00] x film [00] – i am sooo excited to see all of the dramas that they're paired up in next year lmao. like *($&@% THEY ARE SO VISUALLY PLEASING AND JUST A GREAT PAIRING ON SO MANY LEVELS… i need to calm with the capslock. obsessed with the lore of nanon being the actor film was paired up with when she auditioned into gmmtv. obsessed with nanon being too focused on love or wtvr to see the perfect girl right in front of him… heh…

nanon [00] x tu [00] – i feel like these are the strongest acteurs out of gmmtv 00-line (maybe i'm wrong though!!) and even if i don't really feel the compatibility i would want to see them act in an exes to lovers drama or something lmao

chimon [00] x nanon [00] – give the fans what they deserve <3

phuwin [03] x prim [04] – apparently they are childhood friends?!?! i love people who know each other [has no clue who phuwin is]

fourth [04] x prim [04] – GET PRIM AN AGE APPROPRIATE LOVE INTEREST!! i cannot take prim seriously when she's paired up with hags like win ('99) and krist ('95). [random aside but i do think winprim costars friendship is cute <3] but seriously i think prim is the loveliest gurl and fourth is the cutest boy and i would totally watch them in a nostalgic first loves show any day… Do You See. Yes.

other random thoughts on thai actors that i cannot fit elsewhere

• film's relative lack of popularity among 00line girls is crazy to me and i feel like she deserves more recognition!! her instagram posts are perfect and she's def my fav (along with miss tu tontawan!!) among the gmmtv 00s
• jimmy is so pretty to me. i love his discount jungwoo energy…
• NANON X SIZZY LOVE SCORE HAS NO BUSINESS BEING AS CATCHY AS IT IS!!! i also hate how nanon sings in the verses of this song the heterosexuality of it all is truly something. i love watching him dance though
• headcanoning every 00 dude having a crush on love and love just rejecting all of them lmao
• i love tay's twitter presence he's literally like a proud uncle with all of the younger gmmtv actors and it's so sweet T__T i hope he can act in more interesting (read: non-melodramatic) roles. also omg it would be iconic if he played OHM'S BROTHER IN SOMETHING <33
• i love chimon's visuals but genuinely don't know who i'd want to see him act alongside except for NANON. i need to calm down. but also chimon and ppkrit would be a serve… um… wait apparently he's already acted with BILLKIN BEFORE. i'm experiencing so much rn... i need to lie down...
• like seriously why is everyone connected. imagine going thru the voice in the rain tag on tumblr (starring the actor who played ipytm top as the male lead) and realizing that the actor who played hoon in itsay also shows up at some point... like what.
