- (2019) apparently i mentioned jongho and his APPLE SPLITTING THING in reciprocity, probably because he’s 00z BUT STILL. WHAT?
- (2020) i mean obviously i was put off from them because all i knew about them were that they were yeonjun’s hoes or whatever. also the only people who talk about them are armys which, like, i understand now but before i purged almost every army from my tl this was a point of annoyance for me.
- okay random but i did listen to some of their songs and i knew who san and seonghwa were but i also thought that seonghwa’s name was san. so uh

not going to go on a point by point breakdown but ateez were specifically introduced to me (by k) as like this ummm non-visual-group of deeply_straight_men whose fanbase consists solely of armys. so like it wasn't as if i was starting off on the best foot idk WHICH IS FINE. anyways

i don't think about this pairing at all but all the minjoong authors on ao3 write them in the same way (THE MOST UNHINGED WAY POSSIBLE? INSANE COMEDIC STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS?) and it's kind of iconic. do i care about mingi? well no... but WHISKYBUSINESS BDC (...iykyk) MINGI is so much. their dynamix are cute even if i don't care about verifying whether they're accurate to reality or whatnot
